Have Farm Taiwan is an agritourism brand built around one idea: the most honest way to understand a place is to work its land for a morning. Every experience we list is hosted directly by the family that farms it — not a tour company acting on their behalf. You pick tea on a working terrace, transplant rice by hand, or sit down to a meal grown from soil you helped turn.
Why farms, why now
Farming families across Taiwan are getting older, and fewer of their children are staying to take over. Agritourism gives these farms a second source of income that doesn’t require selling the land or changing what they grow. When you book through Have Farm Taiwan, part of what you pay goes straight to the host family, on top of what they already earn from the harvest itself.
How we choose farms
Hosted by the growers
Every experience is run by the farming family itself, not a guide standing in for them.
Small enough to talk
Groups stay small — usually 8 to 15 people — so there's room for real conversation.
Paid to the farm
A set share of every booking goes directly to the host family, on top of their harvest income.
